Welcome to BritEdge (“we”, “our”, “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the BritEdge mobile app, website, and all related products and services (“Services”).
By creating an account or using BritEdge, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. Definitions
User/You – Any individual or business using BritEdge services.
Services – Bill payments, transfers, savings, loans, investments, cooperative features, and any other fintech services offered on BritEdge.
Account – Your personal BritEdge profile used to access our Services.
Third Parties – Banks, financial institutions, payment processors, and service partners.
2. Eligibility
To use BritEdge, you must:
Be at least 18 years old
Have full legal capacity
Provide accurate personal and financial information
Comply with all KYC/AML requirements
We may reject or suspend accounts that do not meet these conditions.
3. Account Registration & Security
When you create an account:
You must provide accurate and complete information
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential
You must notify us immediately of any suspicious or unauthorized activity
We are not responsible for losses arising from compromised devices or login details unless caused by our negligence.
4. Services Offered
BritEdge provides various fintech services including:
4.1 Bill Payments & Transfers
Users can pay bills, buy airtime/data, and transfer funds locally.
4.2 Savings & Investment Products
Users can create savings plans or invest in vetted financial products.
4.3 Loans
Loan eligibility is determined by internal risk assessment, credit history, and KYC data.
We reserve the right to approve or deny any loan application.
4.4 Cooperative (Thrift) Services
Users may participate in group savings or cooperative schemes (where applicable).
We may update, modify, or discontinue any service at any time.
5. Fees & Charges
By using BritEdge, you agree to all applicable fees including:
Transaction fees
Wallet funding charges
Withdrawal charges
Late repayment fees
Loan interest rates
Cooperative processing fees
Fees will be communicated in-app and may be updated without prior notice.
6. User Obligations
You agree that you will NOT use BritEdge to:
Commit fraud, financial crime, or money laundering
Impersonate any individual or entity
Interfere with app security or APIs
Perform chargebacks or unauthorized transactions
Violate any applicable law or regulation
Violation may result in account suspension or legal action.
7. KYC, AML & Compliance
To comply with regulations (CBN, NDIC, NDPR, AML/CFT laws), we may request:
BVN
NIN
Government ID
Proof of address
Facial verification
Additional financial information
Failure to provide required documentation may lead to restricted or terminated access to BritEdge services.
8. Loan Terms
When taking a loan:
You agree to repay on or before the due date
Interest rates and repayment amounts will be displayed clearly
Late or missed payments may attract penalties
We may report repayment behavior to credit bureaus
We may engage external agents for loan recovery
Repeated defaults may lead to permanent account suspension.
9. Wallet & Transactions
Your BritEdge wallet can be funded through bank transfers, cards, or other supported methods.
All transactions are final once processed.
We are not liable for wrong transfers caused by incorrect user inputs.
Reversals depend strictly on partner banks and regulatory guidelines.
10. Data Protection & Privacy
Your personal data is protected under the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR) and international standards.
Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on data collection, usage, and retention.
11. Intellectual Property
All features, logos, designs, trademarks, and content on BritEdge belong to Brit Holdings Limited and may not be copied, modified, or distributed without permission.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
BritEdge is provided “as is” and “as available”
We are not liable for losses caused by:
Network failures
Bank or payment processor delays
Device errors or malware
User negligence
Third-party service interruptions
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the last 3 months.
13. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
You violate these Terms
Fraud or suspicious activity is detected
You provide false or misleading information
Required KYC documents are missing
Requested by regulatory authorities
You may also close your account at any time, provided all outstanding obligations are settled.

14.2 Mediation & Arbitration
Unresolved disputes shall be settled through arbitration in Nigeria under applicable arbitration laws.
14.3 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We will notify users through email, in-app updates, or revised posting dates.
Continued use of BritEdge after updates means you accept the new Terms.
